graphic artist. love food.love films. love music. I'm not a writer so pardon my english.

I bought this book back in 2006 or 07, I tried to read it when I first bought it but I just kept on putting it somewhere then I would forget all about it. It’s one of those books that are meant to be read when one is prepared to fully savor it’s content, almost 8 years have passed and I finally flipped the last page, I’m not sorry that I just finished it now it’s actually a perfect timing because I feel like I’m on a phase of wondering. Line that I liked was -
People need not fear the unknown if they are capable of achieving what they need and want.
There’s a lot of good lines but this hits home for me because I tend to be afraid or doubtful of trying something that is outside of my comfort zone.
Next book in line: 100 Years of Solitude, another book I can’t seem to finish :P I’ll try harder this time as a tribute to the author since he passed away this year :)

I know I could be a cheapskate at times, why buy a book if there’s free online but then I realized the hurtful truth about ebooks that just kills me a little inside, because deep down I just miss the smell of paper, the texture of pages in between my fingers, and the thrill of closing the back cover when I’m done, nothing beats the good old fashion books.

no fun with ebooks for me

For someone like me who is on a budget this is my getaway and this year and the coming 2014 this is my challenge to myself, though its very daunting since I’m having a hard time finishing 100 years of solitude and it’s on the list, I’ve been reading and re-reading the book for ages and I can’t finish it I get bored at the politics in the middle :P oh well now maybe I could finally flip that last page and finally appreciate its worth *crossing fingers*. BOOK HUNTING IN SG

Main objective to find PEARL JAM 20 book. Didn’t get to explore much of the city so I just visited the nearest bookstore in Bugis but they don’t have PJ20. However on the last day of my convention at the Expo one of the halls held a book sale YEY!

so here’s what I got during my book hunt :)

Anne Rice, Snow White and hell yeah! a bargain Bon jovi book a little bent at the back cover but no biggie ^^ sadly still no PJ20.

Bought the snow white book for its cool artwork hihi will be my baby’s first story book.

The Bon Jovi book was first planned as a pasalubong for my brother since he’s a big fan but since I also love the band still in the process of of should I or Should I Not? hehehe told him about the book now he is demanding me to give it to him haha ^^

There’s so much I would like to buy since its a bargain but sadly I don’t have much luggage room :( also in Bugis I found this…

I’m not a big L’arc fan but lately I’m rediscovering their music and I’m just so curious about them but this book is in japanese so It would be for naught to buy this for $78. Hyde samaaaaaa…. heard they will release an english version mmmm… :)

After so many months of just laying there and waiting for me to pick up where I left, I just finished the last installment of the luxe series whewwww…. loved the ending though I feel a little sad that things didn’t end up the way I expected it ^^ now I’m torn if I’ll start to read and re-read the vampire chronicles all over again or do I have to finish my 100 years of solitude or the alchemist first hmmm…..
